It might interest you to know that pumas are also known as mountain lions, catamounts and panthers! They can be found all over the Americas. Jaguars or the other hand prefer the warmer climates, and can be found in South America, Mexico, and the Southwestern US. This bit of trivia is especially interesting to the current stream of videos: "Given its historical distribution, the jaguar has featured prominently in the mythology of numerous indigenous American cultures, including those of the Maya and Aztec."
